About the Officers

Austin Cataluna - President

Austin is a senior pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He plans to either continue his education and pursue a master’s in Mechanical Engineering or head into industry after graduating. His favorite part of Pi Tau Sigma is the network of upperclassmen, alumni, and current students who provide college and career advice and study together.

Tani Siu - Vice President

Tani Siu is a senior pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation, she plans to take a gap year to travel the world before returning home and beginning her career in the industry. She hopes to build a career that supports Hawaiʻi’s ambitious goal of achieving 100% renewable electricity generation by 2045. Outside of school, Tani teaches in Punahou’s afterschool dance program and performs at a luau. In her downtime, she enjoys lounging at the beach, reading, and training/playing with her new puppy. Her favorite part of PTS is getting to enjoy the events that everyone works so hard to plan, as well as the opportunity to collaborate and create meaningful experiences together.

Reagan Chinen - Pledge Master

Reagan is a junior, some things he does for fun is band and playing video games. His favorite part about Pi Tau is meeting new people.​

Sarah Agena - Historian

Sarah is a senior pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Following graduation, she plans to pursue a career in industry in Spring 2027. Her favorite part of Pi Tau is getting the opportunity to interact with other mechanical engineers through social and networking events. She especially enjoys competitive events such as the inter-honor society sporting event.​

Kelly Sato - Treasurer

Kelly is a 5th year student with a minor in Computer Science and pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. She plans to pursue her Master’s in Mechanical Engineering at Dr. Lloyd Hihara’s Hawai‘i Corrosion Laboratory, studying the corrosion behaviors of additively manufactured aluminum. Her favorite part of Pi Tau Sigma is attending social events and talking story.

Margaret is a senior pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. She plans to pursue a career after graduation in Spring 2027. Her favorite part of Pi Tau is getting to know more people in mechanical engineering.
